Chris Elliott, Charleston
Freshman | Forward | London, England / Glyn School

Elliott scored four goals in two games for Charleston last week to move into the CAA scoring lead with seven goals.

The freshman from London contributed two goals in the second half of Tuesday’s win over UNC Asheville, before adding a brace in Sunday’s draw against William & Mary.

Myson Darden, Elon
Senior | Defender | Raleigh, North Carolina / Leesville Road

Darden helped Elon improve on its national lead in shutouts with two more in a 1-0-1 week, while also contributing on the score sheet.

The senior from Raleigh played 74 minutes of a scoreless draw against High Point on Wednesday, before playing all 90 minutes and tallying a goal and an assist in Saturday’s win over Drexel.

Eryk Dymora, Monmouth
Redshirt Freshman | Goalkeeper | Clifton, New Jersey / Clifton

Dymora provided two shutouts in a 2-0-0 week for Monmouth that included the Hawks’ first CAA victory.

The New Jersey native stopped four Saint Joseph’s shots on Tuesday, before turning aside both Stony Brook attempts on Friday.

Ethan Newsome, UNCW
Freshman | Midfield | Myrtle Beach, South Carolina / Myrtle Beach

Newsome’s 86th minute strike lifted UNCW to a 1-0 win at Northeastern. The goal was the first in Newsome’s collegiate career and secured the Seahawks three points on the road to stay within one point of first-place Elon.

UNCW is undefeated (3-0-2) through five CAA contests, while Elon and Hofstra have not lost conference games since their openers on Sept. 3.

The conference’s top two defenses - and two of the nation’s best - are the top teams in the CAA standings through four Saturdays.

Elon’s seven shutouts in 10 games is tied with Syracuse for the most nationally, with the 70% shutout percentage, just ahead of UNCW, which ranks third at 66.7% (6-of-9).

UNCW’s Gabriel Perrotta ranks eighth nationally with an .868 save percentage, while Elon’s Ryan Bilichuk is 11th at .862.

Bilichuk is fourth in the nation with a 0.400 goals-against average and Elon has earned Defensive Player of the Week in four of the season’s first six weeks thanks to four players - Bilichuk, Vemund Hole Vik, Kasper Lehm, and Myson Darden.

Elon’s Ryan Bilichuk leads the nation with seven shutouts, while Monmouth’s Eryk Dymora and UNCW’s Gabriel Perrotta are tied for sixth with five each. Drexel’s Alessandro Capogna and William & Mary’s Danilo Nikcevic have each recorded four this fall.
