Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlo Ancelotti are set to reunite on the field this weekend — on different sides.

Ahead of a sizzling weekend of action in Serie A, Friday morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport focussed on a reunion between Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo and Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti before the two sides face off in Naples on Sunday.
The pair won the Champions League together at Real Madrid in 2014, and the Italian sports paper suggests that they share a father-and-son type of relationship.
“He’s always the same,” Ancelotti revealed to La Stampa this week. “You don’t need to say much to him; he’s one of those players that it’s better to listen to.”

They may be friends off the field, but Ancelotti will be going all-out in an attempt to close the 13-point gap between Napoli in second and top-of-the-table Juve, while Bianconeri supporters will hope CR7 can help to reverse some of their side’s recent poor form.
Yet this is not the only match to look out for this weekend, as Serie A fans can enjoy Saturday’s Rome derby, plus Napoli-Juve, and a league rematch between Atalanta and Fiorentina following a thrilling Coppa Italia tie in midweek.
