Fiorentina Ultras Prepare For Astori Celebration At Coppa Italia Semifinal

As Fiorentina announced an open training session for supporters at their Stadio Artemio Franchi the day before their Coppa Italia semifinal versus Atalanta, the club’s Ultras mobilized. Already having planned a spectacular full-stadium choreography to mark one year since the tragic loss of their captain Davide Astori during the tie, the Viola faithful saw this as an opportunity to show their unwavering support for the team.

A banner was held aloft in the Curva Fiesole during the 3-3 draw with Inter on Sunday encouraging “Tutti allo Stadio” (everyone to the stadium) in addition to messages on social media, all with the same message.

With this in mind, thousands of fans are expected to create an incredible atmosphere with flags, flares, and a barrage of noise in order to convey the message that they are completely behind this young side as they attempt to win the Coppa Italia for the first time since 2001.

FloFC will have reporters present at this unique event, so stay tuned to this article for exclusive and updating content. Canadian viewers can watch Fiorentina-Atalanta as well as Lazio-AC Milan right here on FloFC.
