How To Watch Penn State Wrestling At Wyoming In 2025
How To Watch Penn State Wrestling At Wyoming In 2025
Penn State Wrestling will be back in the FloWrestling spotlight this week when the Nittany Lions travel to face Wyoming on Dec. 13. Here’s how to watch.

For the first time since late 2021, the Penn State wrestling team is not in the top spot on the FloWrestling NCAA DI Wrestling Rankings.
Despite being 3-0 and having dominated the Black Knight Invitational in November, the Nittany Lions were overtaken by Ohio State in the rankings this week by a single point (104-103), with Iowa close behind at 102.5.
Based on how the rankings are calculated, OSU and Iowa have been rewarded for taking bigger swings early in the 2025-2026 season, including the inaugural National Duals Invitational, where the Buckeyes defeated the Hawkeyes for the $200,000 top prize, while Penn State opted not to participate.
In their limited action, however, the Nittany Lions haven’t shown any signs of slowing down, and they’ll be back on the mat Saturday when they travel to face No. 24 Wyoming, live on FloWrestling and the FloSports app, at 8 p.m. Eastern.

The Penn State-Wyoming clash will open the Cowboys’ home slate at the Arena-Auditorium on the University of Wyoming campus in Laramie, Wyoming.
The meeting marks the second in history between Penn State and Wyoming, which met for the first time last season in Pennsylvania. PSU won the first battle 54-0.
Penn State heads west this week after a pair of recent wins against Drexel (43-3 on Dec. 5) and Lehigh (36-6 on Dec. 7). The limited schedule for the Nittany Lions so far this year has included three dual meets and one tournament.
The weekend of the National Duals Invitational, which featured 11 of the top 12 teams from the 2025 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, Penn State was opening its season by welcoming Oklahoma to the Bryce Jordan Center for a dual that ended with a 45-0 Penn State victory.
Oh, and since last claiming the No. 1 spot in the Flo rankings, the Nittany Lions have claimed four consecutive NCAA Division I team championships. Will they get back to No. 1 and continue their winning ways in 2026?
Wyoming is coming off a strong performance at the 2025 Cliff Keen Las Vegas Collegiate Wrestling Invitational, where the Cowboys finished seventh in the team standings and had individual runner-up finishes from Joey Novak (197) and Christian Carroll (285).
Overall this year, Wyoming is 2-2, including wins over Western Wyoming Community College and California Baptist.
The Cowboys also got to compete in the National Duals Invitational, but they lost to Ohio State (33-6) and Virginia Tech (25-12).
