Stanford Back On Top Of NCAA D1 Women's Soccer Rankings In Week 12

Stanford women's soccer reclaims their top spot on the NCAA Division I women's soccer rankings. Notre Dame and Memphis follow closely behind.

Stanford is back on top.

The Cardinal closed out their regular season with an 8-2 victory over Cal. The decisive win propelled them back to the top spot.

No. 2 Notre Dame suffered its first loss of the season in its final regular-season game against Pittsburgh. The 1-0 defeat ended the Fighting Irish’s three-week run atop the table.

No. 3 Memphis, which entered the top three last week, held strong. The Tigers earned a 1-0 shutout over East Carolina in their first match of the American Athletic Conference Championship tournament.

While much of the table remained steady, Wisconsin made a significant jump from No. 24 to No. 15. The Badgers recorded a 3-0 shutout over Iowa. In turn, Iowa dropped from No. 13 to No. 21.

No. 25 LSU joined the rankings after defeating Florida 4-1. The Tigers are deep in SEC play, having topped Auburn 3-2 and Tennessee 2-0 so far.

With one week remaining, teams are looking to lay all their cards on the table before the NCAA Division I tournament and make their final push for the top spots.
