CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Ben Zakowski, Monmouth

Senior | Forward | Glen Rock, N.J. / Glen Rock

Zakowski factored into all three Monmouth goals in a second-half comeback to beat LIU on Monday. The senior from North Jersey tied the game with the Sharks in the 63rd minute, took the lead on a penalty in the 68th, and assisted on Kevin Zapata’s 73rd minute goal as the Hawks stormed back for the victory.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Ethan Garvey, Charleston

Graduate Student | Defender | New Orleans, La. / Holy Cross

Garvey played all 90 minutes and led Charleston’s defensive effort in a 2-1 win over Drexel to open league play. The Evansville transfer anchored a backline that limited the Dragons to eight shot attempts and two on goal as the Cougars opened their CAA slate with three points for the second-straight year.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Julian Jordheim, Drexel

Freshman | Defender | Fredrikstad, Norway / Wang Toppidrett Fredrikstad

Jordheim’s scored his first career goal last Monday at Lafayette to help Drexel earn a draw. The 84th minute tally brought the Dragons level to close the 1-1 contest. Jordheim played all 90 minutes and helped hold the Leopards to four total shots and two on goal.
